Frankly I was desperate for help with my garage door. It was stuck in an open position, and I am a single woman, living alone in the suburbs. The thought of that door being left open with all those nighttime critters coming in was frightening. It was a weekend too, so I used the yellow pages and looked for a good advertisement. Precision's caught my eye. They were prompt, courteous, and I am glad that I used Precision. I have a 5 year warranty, and I have had them back twice for small problems which were covered under that. Darren called to see if he could come earlier than the time slot allocated, and worked efficiently in the cold rain. It wasn't an easy door to fix, it is very old and crammed into an opening that wasn't designed to hold a standard automatic garage door. Darren stayed with it until it worked better than it has in years, despite broken parts! We do need a new door, but until then at least we can get the cars in and out.

Technician arrived precisely on time. He diagnosed the problem immediately. He explainmed what the problem was -- a broken spring -- and suggested in detail what he proposed to do to fix it AND to make our garage door safe. He showed me potential problem areas: frayed cables and rollers off-kilter. He detailed the costs and got my ok before starting work. The tech was friendly and efficient. When he was finished he showed me the work and made sure that I was satisfied. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend Precision to all potemtial customers. PJG, Ossining, NY

I was very pleased with the service. The problem was analyzed to find the root of the problem before initiating a repair. This step will prevent a future recurrence of the problem. Then a technician replaced the parts responsible for the initial failure and then replaced the part that was damaged.

The service personnel were polite and efficient.

I can highly recommend this service.
