Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Technician arrived precisely on time. He diagnosed the problem immediately. He explainmed what the problem was -- a broken spring -- and suggested in detail what he proposed to do to fix it AND to make our garage door safe. He showed me potential problem areas: frayed cables and rollers off-kilter. He detailed the costs and got my ok before starting work. The tech was friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the service. The problem was analyzed to find the root of the problem before initiating a repair. This step will prevent a future recurrence of the problem. Then a technician replaced the parts responsible for the initial failure and then replaced the part that was damaged.

Found Precision in the phone book, where the ad was appealing. The gentleman that promptly came to my house for an estimate was helpful and accomodating. Darren came to the house early in the time interval previously specified on 9 September 2009, checked out the operation of the garage door (it worked well) and replaced the external key pad and rubber strip at the bottom of the door. Since the total came to more than $200, he informed me that there was a freebie that came with it, a laser unit that positions the car in the garage, which he then installed. His work was a first-class operation. I would rate him a 5. Many thanks.

I called from an inernet search using Google and was attracted by the promise of quick response, comprehensive service and local operator.
The tech was early, honest, informative, professional and fast. He gave me his best advice as well as an option for an expedient or a comrehensive solution. I took his advice and swapped out all of the mechanical components.
I may well do the other two bays based on his advice.
