I had my garage door rebuilt by Precision in October 2014 and was very satisfied with the great service. Today I was even more satisfied when I experienced a problem and the guarantee was honored. Our garage door got stuck and would not close. We had hitherto used another company but they were not available when called. A call to Precision Door Service resulted in an emergency service call (at no extra charge) for the same day. The technician (Travis) was very knowledgeable and provided a thorough review of the condition of the door and the reasons for the fault. I agreed to upgrade the old spring/pulley system with a new torsion system. The job was done very well, at reasonable cost. I am very satisfied indeed with the company and intend using them in future.

Angie's list recommendation was how I chose Precision. I was given an 8:00AM to 12:00PM window and was told that the technician would contact me about a half hour before he would arrive. The tech called at about 8:15AM and said he would be here shortly after 8:30AM and he arrived around 8:40 AM. I was very pleased with his knowledge, courtesy and pleasant attitude. I would definitely recommend and use Precision again in the future.

Your technician, Rick, who installed my unit about one year ago, came even earlier than promised (after calling first), quickly identified the problem (defective door closing sensors), quickly switched out the required parts, tested the successful results, told me that the service was covered by warranty and so at no charge, and was on his way within about 30 minutes. Additional problem was found and repaired correctly at a reasonable cost. Technician (Rick) was very friendly and most willing to explain his work while I observed him performing the needed adjustments and repairs. You have a well done and precise web site. The part about fully stocked truck was very impressive. I found this to be true, I have a 70 year old,two car, single wooden door garage, that is extremely heavy. The springs were massive and the rollers original. Your technician new exactly what springs and rollers to use, and they were on the truck. He was very efficient and neat.

Precision provided great service. Everything required was on the truck - high quality springs, rollers, etc. The technician, Rick C was very good explaining what was needed and how the door should work when properly installed. He completed the work in approximately one hour and it now works great. Precision recommends high quality parts and provides a lifetime guarantee. That however makes it pricey.

The technician called ahead; showed up on time; identified the problem quickly; had the replacement parts in the van; even though I didn't have the receipt from my original purchase 5 years ago from Precision he called the office; they looked up the paperwork in their system and found that the entire repair is covered under warranty and charged me nothing! This rarely happens nowadays in nay business which makes one wonder value of buying warranty. Precision certainly earned my trust and will definitely call them and recommend to anyone. Thank you.

I was not happy with the response I received from my previous vendor when presenting the problem with my garage door opening by itself. Richard C. responded to our concerns, gave us his recommendation, explained the price, and pointed out other problems with the mechanism we had in place. In addition to installing a new circuit board to address the problem with the door opening unexpectedly,he saw that the spring and cable were hanging and not supporting the door correctly. He installed new springs and starter cables. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and did the repair work on the spot. We also liked the lifetime guarantee he gave us. I felt very confident with his knowledge and professionalism.
