Josh quickly diagnosed the problem with our existing (13-yr-old) opener. He told us our existing motor was dead and no longer in production. My husband fact-checked this and Josh was 100% correct. I was forced to use Precision for a repair since they installed a door opener 2 years ago. They are very pricy as compared to other door companies. $299 for a break in fee and $800 for a new motor. Big rip off company!!!

Great experience with Precision. Lewis was professional and knowledgeable. I called thinking the motor needed service. Lewis said he can do the work but couldn’t guarantee the parts would work on a 20+ year old motor. We went through different options and costs on repairing the old motor or some new motors. I did not feel pressured at all but in the end I did buy a new motor. I kind of suspected that might happen due to the age of the existing one and several recent repairs. I think the price of the new motor with remotes, wall remote, key pad, and camera was reasonable. Lewis did a great job with the installation and showed me how it works (all of the special gadgets my old one didn’t have). Thanks Lewis.
