Installer was Sam and he was excellent. Very much a person who enjoyed his job and always willing to tell you what he was doing. The only issue I encountered was that when Sam left something went wrong with the sensors and the garage would not close no matter how I tried to adjust them. When I called the main number for help there was no record of any install scheduled for my home. Better yet, they said there was no Sam working for them. I called the phone number on my receipt Sam left for me. Whats with that??????

John, I apologize for the SNAFU. As you are now aware my new door divisions administration is closed on Saturday while we are installing doors. The service center is separate from this division and does not have ability to access their database. I understand that the door is working properly now though. I am making adjustments to the database to ensure that the left hand knows what the right is doing. Thank you for your comments and I once again apologize for the unneeded stress.

Especially after telling you my experience with other Garage Door Companies, that were full of promises and never even had the courtesy to call back (specifally - Overhead Door of Elmsford). Precision Door was the complete opposite. From Vinny to Darren, you helpfulness, understanding, professionalism as well as knowledge, truly made me confident in the product I purchased. Both the initial repair technician and the installer, Sam, were fabulous. The technician was polite, professional, straight forward and made you feel very comfortable. Sam, the installer, was beyond fabulous. He was prompt, hard working, dedicated, and meticulous. He ended up spending most of the day here, keeping us updated on his progress, problems, and questions. He takes great pride in his work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Repairman was prompt, courteous & very helpful. He did what NEEDED to be done & recommended what SHOULD be done. His lubrication of the garage door system was very helpful, as we lost power that night & it wasn't restored for 3 days. It would have been impossible to open & close the door manually without his servicing it. We both forgot to replace the cover on the system's light, but that will get taken care of ultimately.

Frankly I was desperate for help with my garage door. It was stuck in an open position, and I am a single woman, living alone in the suburbs. The thought of that door being left open with all those nighttime critters coming in was frightening. It was a weekend too, so I used the yellow pages and looked for a good advertisement. Precision's caught my eye. They were prompt, courteous, and I am glad that I used Precision. I have a 5 year warranty, and I have had them back twice for small problems which were covered under that. Each time I congratulate myself for choosing Precision.

Darren called to see if he could come earlier than the time slot allocated, and worked efficiently in the cold rain. It wasn't an easy door to fix, it is very old and crammed into an opening that wasn't designed to hold a standard automatic garage door. Darren stayed with it until it worked better than it has in years, despite broken parts! We do need a new door, but until then at least we can get the cars in and out.

Technician arrived precisely on time. He diagnosed the problem immediately. He explainmed what the problem was -- a broken spring -- and suggested in detail what he proposed to do to fix it AND to make our garage door safe. He showed me potential problem areas: frayed cables and rollers off-kilter. He detailed the costs and got my ok before starting work. The tech was friendly and efficient.
