Brian, one of the outstanding service technicians provided me with knowledgeable, courteous and precise service, correcting my problem on location. I am a new customer and will definitely call Precision from now on for any other garage door needs!

Dear Sir/Madame: I just had to write and tell you about my positive experience with Precision Door. A couple of weeks ago, I looked in the Yellow pages for garage door openers. I came across the ad for Precision Doors. I called the 800 number and spoke to a very pleasant young lady. I some questions and to make sure I was given the exact answers, she transferred me to the Service Manager Joe. He answered all my questions. After thinking about what Joe said, I called back and set up an appointment. Date and time was set and I was meeting with Dennis. The day of our meeting, Dennis called to tell me he would be 10-15 minutes late due to his previous appointment. It took longer than expected. When Dennis arrived, he apologized for being a little late. How thoughtful and considerate, a phone call and an apology, very impressed. Anyway, Dennis explained the different door openers and their functions. He checked out my garage and pointed out various things that would pertain to actually putting the garage door opener in. Being retired and on very fixed income, I had no choice than to go for the chain-driven model 3265. He respected my decision. He then asked me what day was convenient for me to have the door opener installed. I gave him a few dates, he said he would get back with me. A few days later he called and the date was set for June 9th, 2009. The office called the day before to confirm the date and time. Darren, the installer, was a very knowledgeable man. He explained to me what he had to do and why. He is very good! Dennis came also. Darren answered my questions as to why he may do this or why he may do that. By the way, I was given a time frame of 8am-12noon, Darren came @ 10am, JUST PERFECT! Darren did a great job in cleaning up, also. Both of these men are indeed an asset to your company! They treated me with such respect and kindness. It was indeed my pleasure to do business with your company. From the young lady who first answered the phone, to Joe, to Dennis and Darren, it was a positive experience. Rest assure, I will be telling everyone I know about Precision Door! I found the company on google, and they looked reputable. I had been burned in the past so I decided to try a company that seemed more established. They were very helpful and professional and best of all, reasonably priced. They also arrived at the very beginning of the 4 hour window I was given -I appreciated not spending all afternoon waiting for them.

Tim, a capable Technician did a good job re-cabling the door and replacing the rollers to restore smooth door operation with some higher quality parts (rollers,lift cables, and springs). After reconsideration of the price to repair a single door for $750 is however a bit much, and although your Tech's 'Know-How' is a Plus I hesitate to recommend your Service when it comes to cost, which I feel was excessive...so not a 5. On second thought I probably should have gotten a second cost estimate.

Ben was excellent and competent with a very pleasant demeanor. However, your Yellow Pages ads were very misleading. The information indicates you carry "All major Brands" and "Lifetime Warranty." Neither of these are true, which is the reason I would not recommend Precision. I research products I wish to purchase and feel disappointed and mislead, particularly as a BBB business member. No stars.

Ruth, Thank you for taking my phone call. To review the discussion we had today. We do service all major brands but when my technician inspected your existing 18 year old Craftsman Motor we found that first it was inoperable due to a short circuit. Additionally, it was 18 years old, near the end if not past it's expected life cycle. We also noted that it was not UL325 compliant as it had no safety eyes. To repair this motor would have been throwing good money after bad. That is why my technician Ben recommended replacement. As for the Warranty, we will give lifetime warranties on garage door repairs and not motors. However, I have extended the manufacturer warranty to you from their standard to a lifetime warranty guaranteed by Precision Door. Once again thank you for taking my phone call, it is important for me and my company to receive comments, both good and bad. It will enable me to improve my company and staff as well as ensure our longevity.

Dennis and Brian were both at my home yesterday. However, Brian performed the actual service on my garage door. Both men were totally professional and knowledgeable. My garage door works wonderfully and I am extremely pleased. I would definitely recommend your company (5 on the scale). I was impressed that when I called Sunday evening a person answered the phone. I was expecting to leave a voice mail. Great job!! I am selecting Ossining as the location because I have no idea what location you are referring to.
