Garage Door Repair Reviews in Westchester County (Updated July 2026)

I chose you because you installed our beautiful door back in 2021. I was nervous about booking on-line but the day and time I asked for worked out well. I received a call from Hector who told me that he would arrive in 20 minutes. This allowed me to move my car from the driveway so that he could pull his truck in. I showed him my 20-year-old "Craftsman 3/4 HP" opener with its broken chain which was on its last legs. He came up with a number of solutions. Since it was a lightweight door, I chose the new motor with 1 HP, and he recommended lubricating the rollers and an alignment of the track. The job took only an hour and a half. It also came with a new keypad and 2 new remote openers. The door now runs smoothly and quietly and has a nice long warranty. What a fantastic and professional experience. I had 2 very old openers that had failed numerous times and were in need of replacement. My technician, Jeff Barrales, arrived a few minutes before our appointment time (a very pleasant surprise), he took the time to discuss my options and together we came up with a plan. He jumped right into it and replaced both openers, provided much needed maintenance for the doors and rollers, and completed everything 30 minutes earlier than originally estimated. He could not have been more professional or courteous, and his work was meticulously done. This is how you retain clients.

Our garage door stopped working on a Friday. I was able to book an appointment for service through the Precision website for the next day, Saturday. Gafur showed up during the time window specified. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me two repair options. Our door and hardware were 10 years old and heavily used. We decided to replace the springs, rollers, sensors and lift master unit. He had all of the necessary parts in his truck. He completed the work quickly, and programmed the new keypad and our cars so the homelink buttons would work. He took all of the old parts away. Given the timing, I did not shop around for price, but I was very happy with the service we received, especially getting the repair done on a Saturday. The new opener is much quieter than our old one and has a camera too. I would definitely recommend Precision for garage door needs.

When our garage door malfunctioned, I called Precision on a Sunday afternoon. A live person picked up and offered a same-day appointment. But as we attending a wedding that day, I requested an appointment the following day. I was given a time window of 10am to 2pm, and at 10:23am I received a courtesy call from the technician, Luis, that he was 10 minutes away. Luis arrived and surveyed the situation. I knew that one of the springs had broken, but requested that both be replaced. Luis also took the time to carefully explain other potential problems and suggested replacing the cables, drums, rollers, and a couple of plates. As the parts were all almost 30 years old, it made sense to me to replace all these items. Upon my approval of the cost, Luis began work immediately, replacing all the indicated components. He worked very efficiently, completing all the work by 12:45pm, and reviewed in detail everything that had been done. I was provided with a detailed invoice. Our garage door now works perfectly, and the work included a 7-year warranty. I am very pleased with Precision, in their communications with me, and especially with Luis, who is a very knowledgeable and capable technician, and who patiently explained everything to me, both before and after the work was done. I would certainly recommend Precision to anyone needing work done on their garage door.

Brendan was super courteous, professional, and friendly. He replaced the motor and the electronics in about an hour and a half - 2 hrs. Great customer service and high quality equipment. Requesting a tune up service for my garage door. Appointment was between 10am to 2pm. Marlon arrived 1:30. I had a valpak coupon for $79.99 for tune up. Coupon was honored immediately and after completing the inspection of garage door. Marlon recommended replacement of 10 plastic door rollers Marlon explained why and showed how old rollers had deteriorated. I decided to replace rollers. Marlon had proper rollers in his vehicle. He replaced rollers in 20 minutes lubricated the door and work was completed in 20 minutes. Excellent prompt and professional service by Marlon. I would highly recommend this company to my neighbors friends and family
